Empowering the next generation of STEM leaders! On January 12, 2025, JCI Surigao North led by 2025 LO President Atty. Krystel Grace L.

Calderon – Buniel together with 2025 Vice President for Community Mariel Makinano and 2025 Local Skills Development Director Raxiey Adolfo, in partnership with Surigao Norte State University, Department of Science and Technology – Surigao del Norte, JCI Surigao Nickel, and the Local Youth Development Office of Surigao City, launched the Smart Learning Boost: Quiz Buzzer System at Mat-i National High School. This innovative technology will enhance learning and prepare students for the school’s new STEM strand, building better opportunities for their future.

We rise up to meet the needs of our community, and we committed to keep going forward, creating impactful programs that benefit our youth. The successful launch and mini quizbee were inspiring, demonstrating the power of collaboration and the potential of technology to transform education.
