Empowering young minds starts with ensuring their well-being. JCI Surigao North is thrilled to have been a part of Project H.I.N.A.W : Hygiene Initiatives for Nurturing Access to Water, a vital project providing clean water and sanitation facilities to pupils of Mat-i Elementary School.
This initiative, a collaborative effort hosted by JCI Surigao Nickel with Area Chair for Area V Jair Balberan, co hosted by JCI Surigao Wensie, in partnership with Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE) Surigao del Norte Chapter, and Primewater Surigao Metropolitan, aligns perfectly with JCI Philippines’ National Program on Clean Water and Sanitation and reaffirms our commitment to SDG 6. The belief that access to clean wat is a fundamental right, not a privilege, drives our work.
By providing handwashing stations, we’re equipping these pupils with the tools to stay healthy and focused on their education. This is sustainable development in action-investing in the health and well-being of our community’s future leaders. We’re proud to have contributed to this meaningful project.
