Bridging The Gap from Legal to Livelihood

March 27, 2026

True empowerment isn’t just about providing opportunities—it’s about providing the legal and financial foundations to sustain them. On March 9, 2026, JCI Surigao North continued its commitment to PINAY POWER by diving deep into the heart of women’s entrepreneurship.

In a powerful collaboration with DSWD Caraga and the CSWDO Surigao City, we engaged with the resilient women members of various DSWD-accredited Sustainable Livelihood Programs (SLP). Led by our Local Communications Director, Atty.

Princess Jezrael Frondozo, the session moved beyond theory into practical, life-changing dialogue. The discussion focused on: – The Magna Carta of Women: Understanding how this landmark legislation protects and promotes women within Sustainable Livelihood Programs. – Conflict Resolution: A dedicated consultation on legal remedies for internal organizational conflicts, ensuring that sisterhood and professional cooperation remain intact – Financial Literacy & Transparency: Strengthening the backbone of every association by promoting honest, clear, and effective financial management.

Building Sustainable Futures. For JCI Surigao North, supporting women entrepreneurs means ensuring they have the tools to protect their rights and manage their organizations with confidence.

When our local associations are legally sound and financially literate, they don’t just survive—they thrive. We are honored to walk alongside these women as they build better lives for their families and a stronger Surigao City.
