JCI Surigao North led by Project Chairperson Jurel Alban , Clark Rex Turtur and 2026 Vice President for Community Charis May Guerra, in partnership with JCI Surigao Wensie and JCI Surigao Nickel, unites for “Beyond Prison Walls: Restoring Hope, Rebuilding Lives” – a purposeful initiative of JCI Philippines National Program that reaches out to persons deprived of liberty with compassion and care. Together, the three chapters deliver meaningful services: Free legal support and consultation, essential medications for senior citizens PDLs, hygiene kits, eye check-ups haircuts, psychological consultations, nutritious meals – ensuring that both physical and emotional well-being are genuienly addressed.

More than just a day of service, this initiative is a reminder that transformation is always possible. By restoring dignity, promoting wellness, and extending second chances, we aim to uplift lives and inspire hope for better tomorrow.

Because when communities come together with purpose, we don’t just serve – we help rebuild lives with compassion, strength, and renewed purpose.
