JCI Surigao North proudly joined the launch of the Batang Surigaonon Youthversity on Wheels last January 30, 2026 held at Caraga Regional Science High School, Surigao City, an innovative initiative of the Surigao City Local Youth Development Office that brings vital learning directly to the youth.In attendance were 2025 LO President Atty. Krystel Grace Calderon-Buniel, together with 2026 LO Treasurer Dy anne Gales, 2026 Vice President for Business Kate Tokong-Canoy, and 2026 LO Auditor Jiezel Claire Eder, showing the organization’s strong support for programs that protect and empower young people.

The session focused on raising awareness on Class 001: Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) and Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material (CSAEM) – equipping students with the knowledge and tools to navigate digital spaces safely and responsibly.JCI Surigao North remains committed to championing youth development. child protection, and collaborative action toward building safer and more informed communities.
